E-commerce Site

Project Summary: We are looking for a professional person or team to build a responsive, multi-vendor e-commerce site for us. The website will consist of a search function (modifiable by product categories), search filters to narrow search results, product pages with a product rating system (for registered users to submit product reviews), a product comparison function, user registration (by automatic mail confirmation) and sign in (with forgot password), secure online checkout fully integrated with Paypal and Stripe payment systems (while also allowing Purchase Orders to be uploaded). The application needs to generate printable commercial invoices (with tax calculated). Initially two currencies GBP and EUR will be needed - use a live bank feed to convert the prices from £ to EUR. Separate admin pages (or a separate application) will be required to allow for order processing and administration. In addition we need to be able to fully manage the available products including an upload facility for loading product from an excel spreadsheet. All buttons and graphics need to be newly designed (no stock graphics to be used). Website needs to be mobile / tablet friendly and is required to pass the Google friendly test. Website needs to be SEO configured. Design: Additional information including web page layout for the product search and detail pages will be provided after reviewing the proposals. We will also provide an initial small data set containing product information. Development Tools: The developer must specify the development tools that will be used and these will be reviewed as part of the selection process. Developer(s) Skills: Only experienced developers should apply. A strong graphic design background with a proven track record is necessary as this site needs to be sleek and very user friendly.
