But yesterday, I came to learn that he redirected my website's sign up link to one of his website's so basically, my clients are redirected to his website. I have a couple of question.
1. Do you own the domain to your website? You have to own the domain name in order to direct the traffic to a specific server.
2. Do you own the server space to your website? If domain needs to be pointing to your server that you have access to. If don't have access to the server, then there is no way to actually fix the redirect.
If you do have access to all of these, then this should be relatively easy fix. I would need access to the server to see of the server is doing a redirect to different domain/server. I would also need access to the website code to see if any meta tags are set to redirect as well.
Your request is as clear as you've made it. It could be that there's a cross-origin request forgery on your website. It could even be that it wasn't the developer that did that to you.
