My first experience with web design and development was nearly a decade ago, in which I had created a website entirely from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JS as a proof of concept of the skills I had practiced Since then I have been managing and redesigning people's websites and blogs on request, and can work with a verbal description (the more detailed, the easier) or a paper and pencil sketch which I can translate almost 1:1 into code styles.
With HTML email templates I am able to provide a sample .html and .css file with Lorem Ipsum running through a number of different text styles (which you can delete/replace as you wish before sending an email). I am also able to incorporate my work with products such as MailChimp, which handles things like mail merge and provides you with a friendly and easy-to-understand interface when composing an email, rather than manually fiddling with a template code file.
By default my work places a focus on cross-platform support and visibility on all devices and mail clients, with most image components having suitable text replacements that still maintain a clean and professional look, in case of image blocking by the mail client's spam filter.
