176400 Scraping JAVA /XML App

Dear Programmers. The succesful candidate will be required to complete the following: Produce a Multi Threaded JAVA application with GUI that will collect 3 different data sets every 30 seconds from target web site. (Please use the latest JAVA release for multithreading) GUI Should include the following. Visual representation of all parameters. Time to fetch, Target URL, Save Path for RAW data and so on. Output box in black with green text showing the script running and the commands being sent and received. This will be done for three instances of the thread. One for each dataset. Size of dataset collected and number of records. Error Report for any data that was missed. Timestamp and so on included. To be kept in log file. I have a fetch command for the HTML required more details and so on, this should be called from a separate file. The file's location and name should be output on the screen and choosable. For example if Login name changes I need to change it in the script not in the application. Some command line functions and parameters should be included. There needs to be some checks in place in relation to WHEN to get the data. For example data collection only happens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The schedule for this is posted on the same website. then at different times during the day we need to start collecting and stop collecting for one hour before. Sometimes the start times changes so we need to check for start time changes. Output on screen should be START TIME: 1:00 (as scheduled)in blue text or (schedule changed) in orange text. So you will need to check for this. The application will still be running through the week and should know when to start. This is so I don't always have to start and stop the application. Lastly for each downloaded piece of data, schedule and times I need the Java application to output this in XML. This is a separate process than the RAW data collected above. For this output I will connect a reader so I can see what is going on through a web page or whatever later.
