Custom Joomla Template

My client really likes the color scheme for the current website [[login to view URL]][1]. I want to conver the site to Joomla to make it easier to maintain and enhance. I used Artisteer to generate the template at [[login to view URL]][2] . I'd really just like to have this template tweaked. I need the page width set to 1000 pixels, the background changed to the purple color from [[login to view URL]][1] and the rest of the colors modified to match [[login to view URL]][1]. I don't know CSS well enough to tweak this myself, and Artisteer doesn't make it very easy to change all those colors.
