We require legal assistance for chasing a debt in Singapore.
The debt relates to a sub-tenant who occupied space in our office. There is a signed agreement and a history of payments before the tenant stopped paying and dissappeared. The tenant ultimately went delinquent. We have the Acra business profile of the company which includes 2 directors.
The amount is small however the principle is our driver.
Our goals are to:
- Lodge a claim against the company to register the debt.
- Understand what the legal position is with regards to the property they left behind in the space. Can we just throw it out.
- Wrap up the matter so we can move on without any recourse from the sub-tenant.
