Patent selling

Hello, I shall be happy to take up this task of patent selling on your behalf. I am a scientist with a background in chemical sciences and have substantial experience in technology transfer deals. As a retired scientist, I am a Patent consultant, duly registered as a Patent Agent and recognized as 'Scientific Advisor' to the Patent Office. I would need to know about your patent, its overall portfolio and the claims granted to you by various jurisdictions. With due valuation and identifying potential buyers, we would need to prepare a non-technical note for circulation among the potential buyers. We would also need to document how you can help the potential buyer in the commercialization of technology, optimization process and/or setting up process plant, formulation etc. besides transferring the patent rights. Besides the above spadework and initial correspondence with potential buyers, it is expected that discussion, correspondence, and visits to the parties would entail for quite some time before the deal fructifies. A suitable technology transfer agreement would be drafted subsuming patent licensing/assignment. It is proposed necessary visits, as and when required would either be funded by the potential buyer and/or you towards that end. A fee of 2% of the sale proceeds would be charged over and above the initial fee quoted herein.
