Requirements
1. B.S. (M.S. desired) in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5 years of experience in developing embedded system products using C/C++, Python.
3. Ability to work with remote teams effectively and complete tasks/projects with minimal supervision
4. Expert-level C coding in a Linux environment is a requirement.
5. Experience with Linux BSP platform including custom board bring up, U-Boot, kernel, device drivers, file systems (ext4, UBIFS, JFFS2), and system software.
6. Experience in secured cloud connectivity applications using HTTPS, Websockets, JSON, XML, openssl, IPSec, VPN, MAC filters, and network firewalls is a plus.
7. Familiarity with the Yocto, buildroot, GCC, toolchain, Make, CMake, git, gdb, core dumps.
8. Exposure in connectivity architecture using Wireless (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC), and wired (Ethernet) interfaces a plus.
Preferred
Experience with a range of native graphics / display-based products and user interface application services using QT, QML, C++ and JavaScript.
Experience with EV charging standards like ISO 15118, OCPP1.6 -2.0.

I am an expert with more than 15 years of hands on experience in embedded systems in FIRMWARE development, Prototyping, PCB Layouts and Product Engineering. Over the years I have worked on small scale to large scale embedded products related to SMART GRID, Automotive, industrial automation and wireless communications. I have worked on 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit MCUs.
In addition to simple firmware development, I have worked on ARM7/ARM9 (debian OS) with cross compilation in ubuntu for device driver development. I have also worked with other propriety RTOS and stacks from several manufacturers. I am adept in using IAR EWB ARM, Keil MDK and mBED.
I am an PHD student with a strong inclination towards Real-time embedded systems (involving task scheduling in RTOS) , computer networks and V2G technology. My research is though related to optimization of V2G aggregator but my interest makes me a suitable candidate. Lets discuss further about this work.

I have experience in C on embedded Linux systems. I can develop code to make connection through serial interfaces like I2C, SPI and UART (RS232, RS485/RS422). I'm actively using open source development and debugging tools like make, gcc and gdb in order to develop code on Linux systems (both native and cross platforms). Also, I have experience with OpenEmbedded, buildroot and cross compilation too. I have used JSON and XML in my diverse projects. Apart from these, I have strong experience with SNMP protocol which is frequently used in management systems.
