Hello,
I am searching for a developer who can write a bash script that automatically deletes old releases.
I have a folder with 2 subdirectories and a symlink named "current". The symlink "current" links to the latest release in the folder "releases", which currently is (as you can see on the screenshots) the folder "497". The script should be run by a cronjob and if executed delete all folders in the "releases" subdirectory except the one linked via the current symlink.
Hello,
I am an expert Linux developer and Bash shell scripting is my favorite.
I can create a shell script that unlinks or deletes all files under the releases directory except the one symbolically linked to the file named current in the parent directory.
I can deliver today as well.
Kind regards,
Ahmed
I have vast experience with multiple linux operating systems like ubuntu and arch, and I have created multiple scripts on them so I believe that my knowledge could be helpful to completing this project.
