I need to develop a remote controlled mechanism to operate the main gates of houses by pressing a click of a button. Eg; suppose I come in my car and I press open button in my remote while I am inside my car, the main gate should automatically open & then when I press the close button, the gate shall automatically close. I need this mechanism to be installed in the existing gates without much modification of the gates. Further, if I want to open / close without using the remote, I should be able to do that. It shall be safe also looking to the safety point of view. Meaning while the gate is closing, if any one comes in between, the operation of the gate shall stop immediately. The mechanism shall work for any kind of gate, meaning for gates that opens/closes in two halves or a sliding gate as well. The electronics & the motor operating mechanism shall be very robust and should not fail in any kind of environment eg; in hot or humid conditions. The mechanism shall be affordable and should not be an expensive one as I want to make for India where a product cannot be marketed if it is costly. Awaiting your responses with proper design & working principle. I am intending to manufacture in the central part of India i.e. Chhattisgarh.
