Hi, I am a software engineer with more than 10 years of experience of database administration on Oracle , SQL server and My Sql. Have handled migrations successfully before also for large databases. The migrations will be with close to zero downtime. Will include rewriting of all database stored procedures etc from PL/SQL to TSQL

Hello I have worked in mutiple migration projects from Oracle to SQL Server and viceversa. I have 9+ yrs of DBA experience of Oracle and SQL Server. I worked at a role of migration specialist and have expertise on GoldenGate if required during migration using zero downtime. There are quite number of approaches to perform this activity , including SQL Migration Assistant, and Export/Import . However the approach will depend if any outage required or not

Obviously most people did not read or understand your requirement. Converting 300GB in 15 instances of 300 tables with 10 stored procedures is going to run you more than $750. The time involved will be great because of the volume of data. The complexity of 10 procedures on 300 tables will likely be enormous unless none of those procedures are for reporting. Properly converting time data types with the correct precision from Oracle to SQL Server can be challenging. I have done such projects a number of times over a 20 year career in database programming and design. I would like to hear more about your project. I would need more details on the data types involved to provide a more accurate estimate.
