Hey there, I had a look at the commission report you've shared and I can help you with the QODBC Setup to calculate commissions for sales Reps. Here are two approaches: 1. QODBC Server (As you mentioned): # This would provide direct output to excel based on paid invoices and excel can auto calculate the commissions of sales rep. # With the scope of work that you've mentioned, I can create the QODBC Extractor to query the Quickbooks database, although unless you have a plan to use the queries for other automation needs as well. This would be very limited scope for automation, assuming that you'd have to buy licence for the QODBC Tool as well and have to pay multiple time for every feature that you'd like coded in. 2. Reporting Outsource: # I can provide you with the reports (Daily, Monthly, etc) at a very feasible rate based on the invoices paid and calculate the commissions. Additionally, email the Sales Representatives with their commission earned figures. For either approach you choose, I'm available to offer you my services. Though, I'd prefer that you automate when you'd like to produce a chunk of reports through QODBC since, every coder you'd hire for the job would have his own style of coding and that usually hampers the QODBC project overall (speed issues and errors later on) and would be cost ineffective.
