Descripción de empleo<br />The RF Performance Expert is a technical reference and responsible for radio optimization activities, network acceptance; technical development; network performance improvement and customer consultancy<br /><br />Main Responsibility Area<br /><br />This position is expected to cover following responsibilities:<br /><br />- Supports Account Teams/Project Teams/Customers directly to ensure Radio Access Network performance<br /><br />- Be involved in RF network rollout and optimization projects<br />- Coordinate with internal/external department for project rollout issue<br />- Be able to consult customer on RF network planning; optimization, performance and KPI improvement<br />- Lead day-to-day network performance issues/discussions with customer<br />- Remote and Local support to projects and customers inside LAT countries; main focus on Mexico and Central America.<br />- Focus on new technologies, products, services and features aiming to support their introduction<br /><br />Position Description<br /><br />- Engineering degree in Telecommunications or Electronics<br />- Typically 10-12 years engineering-related working experience in Mobile Networks.<br />- Fluent in oral and written English and Spanish.<br />- Wide knowledge about Radio interface network performance and optimization<br />- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills<br />- Effective communication skills<br />- Ability to adapt to changes in working environment<br />- Willingness to learn/share knowledge<br />- Shares information across functions, processes and units<br />- Supports his/her team members in their tasks regarding performance practices, process and tools<br /><br />Position Requirements<br /><br />- Strong experience in 2G and 3G technologies (GSM, UMTS, HSPA, GPRS); 4G will be a plus<br />- Experience in performance and optimization in one or more Sub-Systems (e.g. 2G/3G RAN, PS Core, IP backbone)<br />- Knowledge with network KPI performance; statistics; analysis and troubleshooting<br />- Knowledge and practice of Nokia Solutions and Networks RAN parameters and counters; other vendor knowledge will be a plus<br />- Experience in leading of high-expertise technical teams<br /><br />We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
