I've got a Sports component for Joomla that I downloaded last week... anyone interested in editing it and adding some additional functionality to it? This was designed for soccer ( not a good fit for American sports - ie Football, Baseball, Basketball or even Hockey...) The component is pretty defined in the backend with tabs for: tournament/ season/ teams/ match play and so on... for a new product its pretty good.
Right now the component is dependent upon match results from a league perspective if that make's any sense with the results calculated in a league table on the frontend... I do have a customized version of the component created for another individual where you can actually add additional text fields which I have tried to add to my football

Looking to add the following functionality:
1) Right now the module is accessible via a menu item linked to the article... Can you design a module to grab the tournament/ season results; so, it can be displayed in module positions throughout the template?
2) Right now the won and loss buttons are hardcoded and dependent upon matches entered in backend... Can you make the won and loss text fields static; so, the info can also be entered without adding a new match... and also add a " games played field " for summary of the 2...
3) Can you clean up the players tab---- see additional fields... you can add additional tabs to the players tab; but, it will only pick up 4 text fields max- in my case I had 7...there is a bug in the script that needs to be fixed...
4) Can you create an import/ export feature on the backend to pull in a roster from a CSV file...( something very similar to what you can do in Virtuemart...) you can define the positions already on the backend...
5) Can you add some more info hardcoded into the team tab: ie maybe full address... stadium name... stadium capacity... team website hyperlinked...

Please let me know.
