C code cleanup

A reorganizing and extraction of no longer needed code is required. The code is in C and at one time was used to send single letter commands to a micro which in turn performed a function. Later, a new “mode?? was added which used a single letter “z?? to switch into). This mode enabled the ability to send a value directly to each of 4 components (digital potentiometers). The task is to extract out the “original code?? (that sent direct “letter?? commands) and clean up the balance of the code so that it is always in the “new??, “z?? mode and sends the commands directly to the potentiometers. Deliverables are completed code, complete with commentary, that is executable and performs the existing functions of the “z?? mode code on a stand alone basis. ## Deliverables the C code must be able to be compiled for a PIC Micro from Microchip.
