Hello, I have read carefully and understood your project requirements for a Windows application 'Client' that will be in communication with to a web server all time. As soon as the server sends an order to receive, the Client app shows a popup with sound that will let user Accept or Decline the order manually or auto. User's Accept or Decline the order will be notified to the server immediately. Through Client user can also print, view previous order along with accept and/or decline order. I believe web services API to communicate with the server and database will be provided by you. Hi, According to your project description, I would propose Java swing Gui software that would connect to server and check for a orders. I will need more info from you to be more precise. I did a lot of projects in Java swing, with similar features (connecting to web server, exchanging data and presenting them to client software).
