SQL Server Reporting Services

We currently have about 50 reports written in Crystal reports, version 11. Several? of these reports have overlapping information. We are keeping those reports. What we are looking for is to create a few "Ad hoc" reports in SQL server reporting services to allow the users to run their own reports, with their own criteria. The reports we are looking for are similar to the one we currently have, except we would like to give the users the ability to "create" their own reports, add / remove fields, etc.. This would eliminate us having to constantly modify the reports and produce several similar reports with just slight varations.? ? Combining a few of the crystal reports will produce 90 % of the requirements we need. This may require several SQL reports to include most of the requirements, we are not sure how many. The current SQL database has about 250 tables and is written in Microsoft SQL 2005. Some reports do have some calculations, start / end date.
