Online Bulletin Board (Pinterest Style)

I want a system using Isotope getting information from a MySQL database. A difference is the idea of a multi-level isotope. When you click on a tile, it might bring up a single screen with detail, attached images, pdf's, or just a text description. But the tile might actually be the title tile for an entirely new topic, which would bring up a new isotope screen with its own tiles. On this level, the same scenario might exist - Some tiles might be just a specific item, others might actually be a new topic based on the previous and open a new screen with new tiles. This should be able to go many levels drilling down (I can give you the database table to handle this easily). Because there will be levels and tiles with topics on each level, I want a tree on the left side of the screen so that you can find a specific tile quickly and zoom right into the level or specific tile (I have enclosed a sample picture). I expect to use Isotope and a plugin tree (unless you already have code for one). For example Isotope ([login to view URL]) has all the code for this project, except for the handling of multiple levels (clicking on a tile that actually opens up another isotope window) dedicated to that topic of tiles. The chat integration is using one of the open source chat programs, again with documentation and many installations. The database will hold all the documents, images, etc. You would need to have a way for a new user to create a login, and verify the login with an email that they need to click. A difference is that when a tile is created, it can actually be a category, for a new page, that can be drilled down to. Each tile will need to have an owner. Only the owner can change their own tile, but people can add tiles to the categories. There will need to be maintenance screen for the admin to be able to edit, delete, and manage users. I have a simple method for handling the organization of the tiles, and the levels. I will give you this, when and if we agree on working together. I can explain exactly how the algorithm would work and then you can put it into place. I would envision the system being written in PHP, with Jquery, Ajax and Isotope or Masonry. If you have other ideas I am open to listening as long as it is a common language. The system will need to be able to be installed on a hosted system running linux. I would work closely with you handling all the testing and making sure everything stays on track. I am the designer of the system and have 30 years of project management experience.
