Application Interface between raspberry Pi and windows OS.

The interface could be web, it can be programmed on python with bottle. Also al the I?O status can be done with python. Also we can add an api to retrieve the pin status in JSON format. Please explain better the project and what you have already done and how was done.

Hello, my name is George Bouris. I'm experienced HW and SW developer, mostly for the industrial sector. I have used RPi (and other similar SBCs) a lot. Your project can be approached in many different ways. For example, every RPi will incorporate a simple server application, which will be accessed from the Windows machine, to gather the data. The opposite, to run a server application on the Windows machine, which the RPi's access to send their data, can also work. Other, more complex or heavier approaches also exist. We have to discuss the details, to make the correct decision.

Project Features: Supports GCM for notification, stores data in SQLite, No hard Coding, Send data over SMS if no internet connection, Invokes the webserver for login & New registration. Supports SMS, Call & sending email. 2. Windows Auto Login with Phidget RFID, User configured in MySQL We use Microsoft provided ICredentialProvider, to create a new tile in Windows Login Screen. When Phidget 1024 RFID Reader is connected with the PC and when the tag is swipped, based on the tagid I query the MySQL DB to fetch the configured userid and password and sent it to Windows Authentication Process for processing. If it is a valid credentials the user is allowed to login. 3. Bulk SMS Sender, SMS Editor & Receiver Application: I recently created the software for an organization using C# and back end as MySQL using Headwind Driver API (SMS Send, Receive and framing software). Hi there, I am new to freelancer from Sydney Australia. I am an experienced Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience. Your project sounds really cool. I would implement using QT for the Windows server (easy to develop in and can port to other platforms easily). I am assuming you would do the Client side (Rasberry pi)? I would suggest a simply TCP connection with a simple protocol. You need this implemented on the server side (Windows). You need the server to accept multiple clients (not difficult). Then you want some sort of database to store the client data. I would need some more detail as to what you are wanting to store. Then you want a GUI with a tree view for all the clients. Again I would need to know if you want a real-time view or a view loaded from the database. I think it's about a months work at least depending on your feedback.
