Build a Website

Wordpress wizard needed! Importing job listings and user accounts into my new-look website, then helping to launch it Conservation Careers is a membership-based careers advice centre, and in need of an upgrade. My original theme is not responsive, has poor support and increasingly limiting functionality for my members. I’ve started to redevelop my website using WP Job Manager (Plugin) and Jobify (Theme), and am keen to do as much of the work as I can myself. *However, I need your help to move content (specifically JOBS and USER ACCOUNTS) across from my current site into the development site. Finally, once I’ve tested the site, I will need help to set the site to LIVE, and to create an ARCHIVE of my current site* Here is my live site: [login to view URL] Here is my dev site: [login to view URL] JOB IMPORTING DETAILS I have just under 6,000 jobs on my live site which I need to import into my new site. This needs a database wizard (I think). My current site uses JobEngine (theme) and my new site uses Jobify (theme) and WP Job Manager (Plugin). There is a plugin to help with importing jobs into WP Job Manager (if that helps). The fields I need importing from my live site into my dev site are: * Job Title * Job Description * Job Location * Job Region(s) - This is a tricky one... This the geographic region (e.g. Europe, Canada etc) and is a new attribute I'd like to add to my jobs based on the Job Location. So if the job is located in London, then I'd like the Job Region to be also set to "United Kingdom" nested with "Europe". Take a look at the regions in the filters on this page to see what I have set up in my new site. I recognise this might not be possible, but it would be great to achieve it so my archive can be filtered by regions. One option is if you give me the list of locations, I can code them up to regions and give you them back. * Job Application (email or URL) - We need the URL for the original job here from my current site (called weblink). * Company Name * Company Website Address * Company Logo URL - Be great to bring in the company logo (author image?) if possible. Job Type - need this (Warden etc). These are already set up in the new site. We'll also need Job Category (entry-level etc). These are already set up in the new site. * Job Tag - please also import the Job Category (entry-level etc) into the Job Tag of the new site. [I’ll use tags for archiving purposes] * Closing Date - Finally, I would like to also bring across the closing dates into the new site. This means matching the current expiry date into two bits of the new job forms: (i) Listing Expiry Date & (i) Application closing date. (NB There are dummy jobs in my dev site that need clearing out first (I couldn't import them myself, hence the need for help!)). USER ACCOUNT IMPORTING DETAILS I am a membership based website, and use PmPro ([login to view URL]) to manage my memberships. I need help to move all my user accounts - including all the PmPro membership information - into my new site. So basically my paying members can log in using their current username and password, and their membership still works too. Hope that's clear. (NB There are dummy users in my dev site that need clearing out first (apart from admins / superadmins etc)). GOING LIVE DETAILS Once I’ve had a period of testing and troubleshooting, I’d like you to make a working copy of the live site [login to view URL] - so I can always go back and look at my origional content - and to set the dev site to live. I also need all references in the site to 'devtwo' (in urls, links, images etc) to be removed - so nothing relating to the dev site is shown, and no broken links are made.
