Custom Wordpress Plugin Implementation

I am looking to create a FRONTEND clone button for my wordpress site. by using this plugin [login to view URL] There is already a clone button that does one of the needed behaviours (1), but it is a backend solution, not frontend. Am looking for 3 behaviours: 1) The clone button should immediately clone the post WITHOUT going to the admin area. when cloning the post, a TAXONOMY TERM should be set to a default value.
