Balik Bayan Box - Booking & Tracking System, PHP, MySql, Joomla Website -- 2

Gday Po! We run a monthly balik bayan box service from Australia and need an web based booking, scheduling, pickup, dispatch, tracking. This should be accessible anywhere (PC MAC IPAD Android - hence php) Bookings - majority of bookings are by phone, ( we will also utilise an online form and apps**) see attached spread sheet for example fields. Bookings can be either, delivery, pickup or both (eg: deliver 5 boxes pickup 2) Boxes are sent via two external companies or via our own container. --Bookings: Monthly cycle. Each box counts as one Clients may send more than one box Clients receive 1 booking reference number Each box has its own tracking number (currently 4 digits - bar code in future) Booking logic: if date is 10th and bookings < 90 boxes then limit bookings to next multiple of 12 (12 boxes per pallet) cut off date set to 13th - set dispatch via external company no1 (if we have extra over the multiple of 12 and they are urgent) set dispatch to external company no2 for these boxes only) any new bookings or non urgent are booked to the next month/shipment **** ELSE **** if date is 10th and booking >89 boxes then limit bookings to 156 and set cut off date to 23rd - set dispatch via our own container. any bookings after 23rd are booked to the next month/shipment ----------------------------------- --Scheduling Dispatcher will contact client to confirm booking and arrange suitable delivery/pickup date & time, and make note for drivers (eg: leave boxes behind gate, call before pickup, etc) Drivers can also see bookings in real time and pickup jobs "close by" -- Deliveries / Pickups Drivers enter information onsite: Number of boxes delivered and deposit paid. Number boxes picked up, amount paid, box numbers, deposit paid, agent name, Location (metro manila, luzon, visays, mindanao) Drivers are paid per box - autofill fields for delivery and pickup fee. -- Dispatch Dispatcher enters "Receiver Details from bill of lading", prepares manifests and dispatches boxes as per the booking logic. -- Tracking Each stage should trigger & record tracking points, date, times for each box number. Once boxes are dispatched - manual bulk tracking will commence (we rely on multiple contractors so having scanning equipment is not feasible) Dispatched >> via Company 1 or 2 >> Departed Australia >> Arrived Manila >> Dispatch North/South >> Delivered - POD -- Anyone can enter booking number or box number to see progress from website -- Staff may view / list all boxes send by a client. -- Every 8th box is offered at 1/2 price ========== Ok I'll stop there for now.
