Modify script Prestashop. Import and Discount plugins.

I have two scripts. One for discounts, which is the "price rules" of Prestashop, modified so that it will work as I need it to, and the other is an import script that uses a text file to import information like stock/price/name, etc, including the tableID (discount table ID from modified "price rules"), for each product. 0 means the product doesn't have one, any other value is related to the specified table of discounts based on quantity, for each type of customer, as you will see inside the application. The problem is this: Every-time I make an import, it populates the fields from "tableID", inside the database, but it will not activate the table of discounts inside front-office, unless I use the "save" button from back-office, from inside the product page. This makes me believe that there are more querys working to apply the discount plugin to products. Requirement: I want the discount plugin to activate the information inside front-office whenever I make an import. The best and clean solution would be to modify the discount script so that it will launch the querys whenever the information gets changed inside the database, from tableID. Another acceptable solution would be to have the import plugin contact or run the querys from the discount plugin, in order to validate the modifications inside the database, so that the results would be shown inside front-office. There may be other solutions, and I'm willing to discuss them, as long as the process of import and creating discount rules stay as simple as they are right now.
