Hey, If Java is not deal breaker then I have developed a script using PHP which features very similar functionality. It extracts data from PDF invoices and outputs in xml format. And minor change is required to make it output into excel format. And well some tweaks are required to make it work with the format of your invoice as what I used was formatted differently. Fields were almost same but its appearance was different. Also If you want I can make it into a web app so you can access it from anywhere and does not need to stick with Java only.
