This project is pretty simple - basically port an old Java application from Windows XP to Windows 10. I have in the past ported it to Windows 7, but I forgot to write down how I did it and can't be bothered wasting the time playing around with Java and Windows 10 to get it to work again. My guess is if you are skilled at porting Java application it should be a very quick job. I will provide the .iso with the installer and the serial number. You will need to provide me with the detailed step-by-step instructions of what needs to be done to get the application working on Windows 10. Please post the word "DNA" in your bid so I can tell you actually read the project description and are not just a bot bidding on everything. You are welcome to PM me with any questions you might have.

I am a full time Java software engineer with 9 years experience. I would suspect that the application may not be running on windows 10 due to Java 9/10 being installed. If you can send the application I would be able to tell you more. Thanks, Gavin.

Hi DNA, I have recently had experience porting C# and Java applications from Windows pre 2008 Servers to Windows 2016 Servers. Porting Java code from a Windows XP to a Windows 10 OS would be somewhat similar depending on the application. The reason why I am saying 4 days is because this allows me to construct unit tests to run overnight and into the 4th day to see if the port was successful. I also have experience writing documentation for people/users are not involved with computers one a deep technical understanding so I should be able to cater for whatever ability you have. -Regards
