Database Troubleshooting

Hi, very interesting database project ! Based on my experience this troubleshooting issue can be easily achieved. To be clear, I will answer Your two questions: - The database results very slow in seek requests : Need to fix this before any hardware/software check, Your indexes maybe corrupted - The SQL queries result in a hanging situation above 10000 indexed records : This has to be better checked, hanging maybe too slow. This depends on 1st point and needs a subsequent Hardware/Software check deepening. - In the proposal we have to meet an amount of the time needed to complete the job : 1 hr to see the environment and to do a 1st check to the database. then from 2 to 5 hrs to do the work (or to explain what HW/SW issues have to be fixed) Feel free to contact me for any clarification or question that can get the success of your goal Cheers Gianni
