This project is an evaluation project for 1 to 3 hours. This project is to determine if you can be accepted for a long term project 35-30 hours per week. This configuration includes installing utilities and tools that you prefer to use for this task and any other methods, utilities or procedures that you wish to use to complete the task. Describe any other methods, procedures or utilities that you will be using to complete the project. Review technology usage like disk space, risk of loss, disaster recovery, fault tolerance, consider technologies in the osi 7 layer model and review current and recommended. Most methods can be found on technet, msdn, dell or similar web sites and be adapted to specific projects. Some possible topics to include: Switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage, vmware Health of network, active directory, network topology Looking for optimal and best practices and make recommendations Write recommendations of remediation plan Document network topology and systems, levels of firmware Components and component configuration, reconfigure and optimize The terms to determine completion are that the network discovery is competitive in the marketplace as a commercial product and/or service and is accepted by the project principal. There are walkthroughs, toolkits and templates on msdn, technet, and web sites like Dell to accomplish this task. We don't have specific requirements or specifications. You will need to have enough experience to be able to complete the task described above or be willing to search on the web and download the various walkthrouhgs, toolkits, templates and utilities that are available.
