Today we will be interviewing 5 people on teenagers mental health we thought this would be a good topic because a lot of this is going on in teenagers life and social media has made us realise that it's a lot of people's issue and that a lot of people have been bullied or have been called names they are very hurtful which cause mental health problems and to have less self-esteem. We think that this podcast is a very important part of a lot of people's live because I'm sure that a lot of people have gone through this it's very hurtful to see other people made fun of and deeply inside their hurt so we decided to interview 5 people to get to know their opinion on what they think about mental health and if they have they been through it We asked the following questions to 5 People and looked at the difference of their responses. Have you noticed how many similar answers there are from the students in comparison to the ones from the teacher? Yes especially on the question on when they asked if you would justify offensive jokes because it came from your friend One interviewers respons to our question is right some teens might be suicidal from certain comments, The Centers for Disease Control states that almost 45,000 deaths occur from suicide each year. A little over 14% of students in high school consider suicide and approximately 7% of them attempt suicide. Students that are bullied are around 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims. A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying. 10 to 14 year old teenage girls are most likely to commit suicide based on this study. According to ABC News, nearly 30% of students are either victims of bullies or bullies themselves and one hundred and sixty thousand kids stay home from school every day because they are scared of being bullied. And 8 percent of kids from 10-14 year olds commit suicide. The reason why we did these interviews was because we know that a lot of people have been through this. Not only in italy but all around the world. We think that it's not good for teenagers' mental health and we want to help the world and provide goods for everyone so that this podcast gets spread through the world and we want to get people to stop using hurtful words or bad comments that might affect others and we want to make people feel better about themselves . In conclusion we have seen what actual students and teachers think about this topic many similar answers and many different answers however almost everyone agrees with each other's answers that it is rude to say some offensive words to people and ruin each other's self esteem and make eachother either insecure or feel bad about themselves NOW IT’S IN YOUR HANDS: .
