Create Texture and Bevel functionality on 3d Meshes

Dear programmers, We want to make some special text effects using the Direct3D platform. For that project, we are looking for a developer that can provide us with consulting and source code for the following features: Texturing a mesh (with all possible parameters included) Beveling a mesh (with all possible parameters included) For a guide on what the least paramaters should be, you can reference the Ulead Cool 3D software that implements something similar. As said, the parameters should be at least the ones shown there for both Texture and *all* different bevel effects. Look at the Texture and the Bevel Effects. The project requires both consulting and programming. Consulting means that the developer should find additional features or capabilities that can be implemented for the objective of creating the above text effects (i.e. suggest as many parameters as possible). We already have a prototype that includes lighting, moving, rotating, scaling, etc. We need a prototype that will provide the above features (texturing and beveling) with all possible parameters. We do not need a GUI for that prototype, we are interested for the code implementation of these features under the hood. So, the prototype can be very simple in terms of User Interface. Obviously, if things go as expected, we will continue the co-operation on other fields of 3D programming, for this project or for other projects. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows with DirectX 9 installed
