PHP updated. Now two website don't work right.

I have a dedicated server hosted on HostGator and there are about 50 websites of friends and some customers hosted there. I am not an IT type person so I generally have to have someone else take care of the server issues. Recently there was an upgrade to the PHP to I think 5.4 so I did that and ran into problems. Hostgator said the cPanel or the WHM one could not handle 5.4 and they downgraded the PHP to 5.3 something. Most everything worked but there are still two websites that are having a problem. [login to view URL] in the gallery admin where they update, add or move pictures. It gets an "internal error" when trying to work in the admin. [login to view URL] gets an "internal error" whenever you go to the photos page. I need someone to look at the php and make the change required to the config OR could be they have to look at the two programs and tweak them. I need it to be done as soon as possible. :-)
