227164 Text File Import Date Stamp

MS Access Text File Import & Date Stamp Macro/Solution: I am looking for an MS Access solution, preferably a Macro that will allow me to import a text file into an existing MS Access database and Date Stamp the text file when it is imported. The import will be weekly and will involve the import of two text files every week. The files have an identical structure but different content. The table name notation should be as follows: ThisWeekSpanFile_DATESTAMP LastWeekSpanFile_DATESTAMP The date format will be, MMDDYYYY. The date will appear after the underscore sign. For example: ThisWeekSpanFile_05302008 LastWeekSpanFile_05232008 The Macro shall be named, FileImporter Please do not hesitate to ask for clarification. Thank you.
