Multivendor E-commerce Greeting Card Website

• An e-commerce greeting card website, driven by a community of greeting card designers, similar to multivendor marketplace • The website should have the technology to communicate with an API of an outsourced POD company, which deals with printing and posting of the greeting cards. • The community of designers provide the designs for the greeting cards. • Commission will be paid to the designers for each greeting card sold on the website. • The designers upload their designs within certain criteria (size, file type and tag descriptions), the designs are then moderated by my team. If accepted they are placed in the site catalogue. Initially the designers will be granted 5 slots for greeting cards. Depending on their success, more slots can be granted. • The site would operate like a multivendor marketplace, but the products would be digital uploads • Customers see cards displayed according to certain categories, e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, occasions such as valentine’s day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas. • The website requires ecommerce functionality with a cart and favourite items • Users / Customers - The user must be able to create an account where they can see the following information: o Personal details o Orders o Address where the cards should be sent o Payment Methods o Credits o Reminders o Invite Friends o Contact Us • Customers must be able to write their own message in the card, selecting a font they prefer from a list • Designer or Vendor Panel -Designers must be able to create an account where they can see the following information: o Profile o Sales Overview o Sales by Card o Payouts o Seller Details o VAT o Design upload page • Designer registration page • Admin Panel – The site administrator must be able to log in and see: o Products o Categories o Orders o Coupons o Designer Cards – all approved and cards still to be approved o All designers and all their sales by cards o Customers and details of their purchase o Refunds o Settings such as commissions, withdrawal, payment, product review (approve or not), designer registration approval o Reports o Withdrawals • The Print on Demand API will operate in the following manner: o The customer visits the website or app o They make a selection, choose/build a product and place an order o The POD company receives a message from the API to produce a print on demand item o They create and ship the order, as specified, directly to the customer • In the footer, the site must also include the following: • Customer FAQs • Delivery and Returns info • Contact Us details • How to become a designer • Designer FAQs • Designer’s guide • Blog • About Us • Careers • Terms of Use • Competition Terms • Privacy Policy • Cookie Policy • Link to an app (to be developed at a later stage) • Social Media links
