Hello!
I am in need of help with my website for my clothing brand. I have a Wordpress domain [login to view URL] and then an Open Cart subdomain which is shop.sifnation.com. I am having issues having my SSL certificate working properly with my subdomain so that I can have a secure checkout in my online store.
I purchased a wildcard SSL certificate from GoDaddy and had it installed on my server with BlueHost. I selected in the admin section of my Opencart to use SSL but I hadn't changed anything in either of my config files. When I would type in [login to view URL] the landing page would not be my Open Cart store but rather the Wordpress page (that would be from [login to view URL])
After talking with tech support from Bluehost, they added to my htaccess file:
#.htaccess WildCard SSL
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^[login to view URL]$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/shop/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /shop/$1
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^[login to view URL]$
RewriteRule ^(/)?$ shop/[login to view URL] [L]
Now when I go to [login to view URL] it takes me to Open Cart but the landing page completely loses the template until I click something else (See the first screenshot)
When I go to my [login to view URL] files and change the HTTPS server to the following:
(In my shop folder)
<?php
// HTTP
define('HTTP_SERVER', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTP_IMAGE', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTP_ADMIN', '[login to view URL]');
// HTTPS
define('HTTPS_SERVER', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTPS_IMAGE', '[login to view URL]');
(and in my admin folder)
<?php
// HTTP
define('HTTP_SERVER', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTP_CATALOG', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTP_IMAGE', '[login to view URL]');
// HTTPS
define('HTTPS_SERVER', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTPS_CATALOG', '[login to view URL]');
define('HTTPS_IMAGE', '[login to view URL]');
Everything seems to just mess up- turning [login to view URL] into a disaster seen in the second screenshot and taking me to an INCORRECT admin login when I go to [login to view URL] seen in the third screenshot.
Really would like this fixed ASAP and to understand why this is happening.
