Create a Gantt chart (or similar)

Experienced projectmanager (20 years) also with PMO activities like planning and scheduling. Like simple tools that everybody can use! Would advice to take MSFT Excel letting me create elektronic first version. I used a self-made excel template with gantt chart like pictures in big IT-programme with multiple projects for easy communication/meetings with around 10 projectmanagers. Worked very well when the number of changes per week is not too big, and not too much details is needed. Advantage, you are completely free to add tekst, graphics in your own style if you want to. But can use the structure of the Excel-matrix to keep some structure. In case you need specific information in the first version for monitoring and analyzing purposes, please let me know these specifics and I'll include them letting you the possibility to extend this along the way. Is it possible to add a text-document with just the text items on the board in elektronic form so the text is written exactly as intended in the excel/gantt chart I create ? Otherwise textual failures will be difficult to avoid. But maybey you want to adjust yourself afterwards, that's also possible off course, and maybey even less work.

Hello. I think your requirement could work in this way. 1. You always update your excel file, for any change in new gantt entries, and changes. 2. I write a Windows c# app, to read your excel file and show a gannt graphic related to your data. You can run the app more than once and you can load a different excel file for each instance, then you can have 1 or 100 different gantt project schedules.
