Delphi Firebird Point of Sale

. We require software ( with source code ) for Point of Sale (POS) in Cafes, Restaurants and BARs, including Stock management. This class of software is also? called POS/F&B stock control. POS = POINT OF SALE F&B? = Food and Beverage Stock = Inventory This is NOT a general retail POS system - it is specifically for HOSPITALITY. We? particularly? supply? to hotels that have BARS and Restaurants. If you have a POS that works in Restaurant/Cafe/BAR but maybe not yet in hotels, then that may only need some quick modifications. The main feature for POS in hotels is that you must be able to close? sale off to the guest account in the hotel software package. (this is easy) To give you an idea of the loads - The hotels are typically? privately owned ( not hotel chains )? from? 10 to 300 rooms. Typically from 2 to 8 bars and restaurants? with 2 to? 5 POS terminals in each - depending on the particular size of the hotel. This is not a project to be developed from scratch. We are only interested in? existing POS products. Therefore? only developers that already have? something? can bid. We? intend to customize and combine this project with our own Hotel management system. (We will consider? FreePascal? = Delphi) Can use any? open 3rd party library Like JVCL and JCL Can use TMS-Software - we have TMS Subscription Must be able to network on TCP/IP.? ## Deliverables . This is not a project that starts from scratch. We have set the expiry date for this project to just a few days because we want you to provide a solution that you have already completed developing some time ago.? To say it another way - it is like we want to re-brand an existing mature POS software package and customize it for our particular needs. It is important to note that we? will only sell? to our local ( African ) hotel industry and only? in conjunction with our existing Hotel management software.? We will not sell POS into any other region. We may be willing to agree to? such restrictions in contract if necessary. We will not provide a specification because we? will consider? YOUR existing specification and feature list. You will already have this because you have already developed a POS product. We may be willing to pay much more than $500 if your product is that good.
