DESIGN OF CONVERTER CHARGING Technical Deliverables 3D Model in IGES/IGS format will be given by us. If any modifications are required in the 3D Model, we will make the same and give a revised one. Finite Element Model (Meshing can be done using hyper mesh or any software that user is comfortable with) should be prepared only in consultation with us (i.e. phone discussion) and has to be given to us before starting solver. CFX Pre, CFX Solution and CFX Post are to be given to us. DESCRIPTION 3D CFD analysis is required to be done for gases at 800 Deg C with heavy dust content coming from a furnace mouth, and a hood under negative pressure sucks the dusty gases (air also gets sucked). Particle size distribution will be given and all other required design inputs (such as gas density/composition, temperature, etc..) are available. Buoyancy and heat transfer (mixing of hot gases with atmospheric air) has to be included since hot gases are lighter than atmospheric air. Commercial Terms – We will be awarding the official contract with terms which the modeler has to sign and return. Contract will be officially awarded through freelancer.in and payment will be made within 3 working days from the date of receipt of all the following and verification. • 3D Model in Solidworks • CFX Pre, CFX Solution and CFX Post are to be given to us which will be verified from our side. • Results have to match with experimental and practical results which are available at site within an accuracy of 10-15%. • Report is to be prepared as attached. • Spray Nozzle details – (quantity, flow rate, pressure drop, atomization size, cone angle). INPUTS (will be given by us) • Input Gas Temperature, Dust Concentration, Gas Composition, Flow Rate, Particle Size Distribution. OUTPUT (to be given by CFD which will be verified with experimental results) • Animation and plots of hot gases from converter getting into the hood and escaping into the atmosphere • Entry losses for the hood • Dust particles (with sizes) getting into the charging hood and escaping into the open atmosphere Formal work order will be placed with all terms and conditions by our company

Hello, I am interested in your project as I have done many CFD projects using Fluent with ICEM, COMSOL, Solidworks, and AutoCAD in the past 10 years. Here are some examples: - Simulated turbulent flows (k-e, LES) in various geometries (2D,3D) - Simulated many multiphase problems such as slurry and bubbly flows in pipes (using particle tracking scheme and Eulerian multiphase model) - Simulated particle concentration in mixing cell - Simulated flow through cracks and holes in oil pipelines - Simulated thermal comfort in a room with a temperature controlled heater - Simulated heat transfer and reactions in packed bed reactor - Simulated cavitation and compressible multiphase flow in pumps, venturi and orifice - Used UDF programming to add a new feature such as specified velocity inlet, DPM particles interactions, ... Also, my Ph.D. thesis was the design and optimization of a device to control cavitation in venturi and orifice using ANSYS-Fluent. Hello, I'd like to apply to your job. I have work experience in civil engineering field, performing advanced CFD analysis using mostly Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+, FDS and other codes. A number of different assignments and engineering experience including Offshore Engineering, Wave and Tidal Energy, Waste to Energy, HVAC, Auto Motive, Infrastructure, Process and Food Industry. I hold a Master's Degree in Engineering Physics and I finished my Ph.D in Combustion Physics at Lund University. Varying with the knowledge in different trades such ad CFD/FEA analysis by using Ansys software and other pre/post processing tools: • ANSYS (FLUENT, MECHANICAL, AIM, SpaceClaim), STAR CCM+, FDS, ANSA ... • Programming skills: Fortran 90/95, 70, MATLAB, C • Multiphase Gas/Liquid, Solid/Gas Reaction Kinetics Modelling • Operating system: WINDOWS, Linux and UNIX Dedicated engineer, that understand deadlines and provides a high quality of work.
