Convert MS Access 2003 software and Reports to VB6 program

**MASS** means "Membership Administration Software System" and has been operating for the past 3 years. The software can be used for small to medium size clubs, or any Association that maintains members (of different categories - e.g: Single, Married Couples, Life Members/Annual members etc.) and organises functions for its members. The software product was written in MS Access 97 VBA, is stable and is converted to Access 2003. I want to change the programming platform to VB6 making the software independent of any Office product version installed. I have converted most of the forms and Modules to equivalent VB forms and BAS Modules. The conversion is approx 75% complete with some of the "completed" forms still require design corrections (like multicolumn combo dropdowns (a special control I have) for searching records on the form. Some "clean-up" is required in converting DAO (where it is used) to ADO on a form. There are 2 MDB's that link to the front end - One maintains membership records ([login to view URL]) and the other ([login to view URL]) maintains Outings, parties, and/or Social Functions data. The coder will be required to fix the non working forms, add the combo search controls on the forms that require them) and there are 2 enhancements required which will also require 2 new tables in the MDB. You must make sure that each Access form works with the MDB and can be called correctly from the Main menu. Approx 20 MS Access Reports need to be run from VB6 in Access or converted to Crystal Reports. ## Deliverables The coder will be required to fix the few non working forms, add the combo search controls on the forms that require them (check the Access forms to find this out) and there is 2 enhancements required which will also require 2 new tables in the MDB. Remember you will take each MS Access form and make sure it works with the MDB and can be called correctly from the Main menu and make sure it works like the Access program. **MS Access Reports cannot easily be converted to Crystal** unless you are an "Expert " on Crystal reports - so I will accept if the Reports are moved to a separate MDB and then called from VB6 program using a MS Access 97 runtime which I have, else** you can suggest a better method of running reports from the VB6 Main Menu. ** There are approximately 5 forms yet to be completed, plus 2 enhancements and approx 20 reports which can either be run from VB6 using the MS Access 97 Runtime license I have or convert them to Crystal reports. **There are 2 data bases (MDB) linked to the VB6 EXE - [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]** **Programming Language ** VB6 **Other Considerations:** 1. 2 MDBs connected to VB6 front end EXE 2. The EXE must be able to operate on a network or Terminal server 3. The current version of MASS is supplied for you to review the code and images of the existing VB6 design to show how much is completed. This VB6 code will be supplied to the coder who is successful with their bid 4. You need to be very good on MS Access to understand how it works and to be able to convert this code to VB6. Please don't bid if you know very little about MS Access VBA code conversion or Access Reports conversion to Crystal Reports. **REPORTS** Suggest how these will be converted from the original MS Access or use Crystal Reoorts and supply the runtime files for CR. **The Access Program MDB and data will be supplied in 2 days**
