I'm looking for a skilled C++ developer to create a CAD software primarily focused on 3D modeling, compatible with Windows OS. Key Features: - Primarily 3D Modeling: The software should excel in 3D modeling capabilities, providing robust tools and functionalities for creating and editing 3D designs. - Compatibility: The software should be specifically designed to run seamlessly on Windows operating system, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. - File Format Support: The software should support importing and exporting of DWG files, for compatibility with AutoCAD files. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficient in C++: Extensive experience in C++ development, with a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns. - CAD Software Development: Prior experience in developing CAD software, particularly with a focus on 3D modeling, will be highly beneficial. - Windows OS: A good understanding of Windows OS and its specific requirements for software development. - File Format Handling: Experience in handling DWG files and developing import/export functionalities for CAD software. If you have relevant experience and skills in C++ development, particularly in CAD software, and can commit to creating a high-quality, Windows-compatible CAD software, I'm keen to hear from you. Extra info: I am looking at a long term contract of 1 year, renewable each year. I will conduct a written test before making offer, candidate has to be ok with taking a test. So this will be like a steady job, except that work will be remote and flexi, as long as candidate delivers 160 hrs per month and daily skype calls. I may also require an onsite visit to singapore for orientation, visit will be for 3 weeks.
