Job Description: We are seeking a skilled M&A Deal Origination Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to source off-market deals that align with our acquisition criteria and present qualified prospects for further evaluation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential acquisition targets that meet the company's acquisition criteria. 2. Build and maintain a robust network of contacts within the business community to source off-market deals. 3. Engage in proactive outreach to business owners and major shareholders to uncover potential acquisition opportunities. 4. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, including financial performance, ownership structure, and motivation to sell. 5. Collaborate closely with the M&A team to provide detailed insights and recommendations on potential acquisition targets. Qualifications: • Proven experience in deal origination or business development within the M&A or corporate finance sector. • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results. Compensation: • Pay per lead, negotiable based on experience and track record. • Bonuses will be provided for each successful acquisition resulting from leads generated by your efforts. • A lead is defined as an attended discovery call by a prospect that meets all other acquisition criteria. Note: This is a remote position with flexible working hours.
