Solution Architecture Project for iPad Point-of-Sales (POS)

I would like to engage a solution architect to work on a solution architecture paper for a iPad Point of Sales (POS) system. The system provides rich POS functionalities and enables data to be stored locally within iPad and would be able to connect to an Internet-based Cloud application to synchronize the data into the central securely and to extract the required data from the Cloud storage into the iPad based on certain criteria. The system would also network with other iPad applications in other iPad devices, receipt printer, cash drawer, card swipe, etc through LAN. The architecture design must address performance, scalability, security, maintainability, robustness, and user-friendliness in the solution. The specification should clearly define how the design would achieve the requirements, what technologies to be adapted to meet the requirements, and areas of challenges and risks.
