Such a project would likely require an update for each new website you wish to add inherent support for. You are aware of that, correct? Additionally, you'll likely want 2-3+ database tables to properly store all of the info. 1 will be a list of users 1 will keep track of each users' saved items You may also wish to have an extra table for saved items from "unsupported" websites. Have you already designed the database, or would that be part of this project?

I just need to clarify the following topics: 1) Does the extension need to be localized in various languages? If not, than how do you expect the extension to behave when the user is viewing a shopping page in an unknown language? 2) Is there a list of supported online stores you would like to share? If not, than how do you expect the extension to behave when an unknown shop is visited? How do you expect that the extension would detect the right "Add to cart" button and append to it the extensions customized button? You should bare in mind that every page has a different design/Coding schema and its not custom to have an extension work for every single store out there. You should have a list of specific supported online stores. This list can grow in the future however, expecting that the extension would be capable of detecting all the information you require on every single online shopping page out there given the fact that every page has a different design/coding schema and could even have different languages is not possible.
