This job requires good English language skills. THE JOB: 1. I have approx. 20 to 30 hours of audio recordings that I need to be transcribed into word docs. Language English. The quality will be similar to the sample 15 min recording that I have posted here. I need all of the transcriptions completed by Jan 7. 2. I need you to produce MS Word docs - text with paragraphs breaks where appropriate. You don't need to record time code, except where a sentence is unintelligible (see below). PAYMENTS: 3. Funds will be released for each transcription you do. Your text will be checked against the audio before funds are released. PLEASE QUOTE PER TRANSCRIBED HOUR OF AUDIO. QUALITY REQUIRED 4. I don't need 100% accuracy, a word or two that is mistaken is OK, but missing sentences or paragraphs are not acceptable, unless the words are difficult to hear or unintelligible. In this case, you can write "word unintelligible" or "phrase unintelligible" and add the time code. PLEASE NOTE I have tried Dragon transcription but it's not accurate enough, unless you're prepared to correct what Dragon does. But that may take you longer than transcribing it yourself, from scratch. Hello, I'd like to help you with your ~30 hours of audio transcription project. I'm a native English speaker who is also fluent in Russian and 2 other African languages. I have been transcribing for over 2 years now doing numerous accents, Chinese, Australian, American, Slavic etc. I've also done numerous transcription specifications under different deadlines. Hi there, I have carefully gone through your requirements and I can assure you that it's quite a big project. With the holidays and all it will be difficult for a single individual to completely handle it to meet your deadline. Even working through group as it still entails 3 levels of communication. I suggests you get as many as 5 freelancers to handle this project in order to meet your deadline. I would have loved to coordinate it for you but I don't have the funds for such. My rate would be $35 per hour if you give the whole of 20-30 hours. The rates would vary depending on the amount of work. I can complete a 30 mins file in 2 hours if the audio quality is good. I provide high-quality transcriptions as I try and understand the subject that is being talked about. I also proof the content before sharing with my clients so as to save their work.

I have just finished a similar task for A company called Forest business (check reviews) - Simple and elegant transcription was provided with correct grammar and details on the particulars of the transcription that were not transcribed properly e.g was not English, hard to hear and so on. My average typing speed is 45 wpm and I am accurate at what I do, also a very good visual communicator and most importantly a Specialist in Microsoft, specifically Powerpoint, my rate will be 12 AUD per/hr of transcription material. Hi, i'm interested to work in your project. Thank goodness you understand that the people is imperfect. I have 19 days to finish the 30 hours transcription. Maybe, i made mistake here but i won't make a whole block message. When somebody speak a another voice, or another topic, ill start paragraph again (Format transcript). I can transcribe 1 hour per day. It will take 4 - 6 hours i guess. So, 1 hour per day. But, i'm trying to transcribe a 3 hour per day to complete the 30 hours. So, my goal for now is to transcribe 10 hours before Jan 7 but if i have more days, I'll continue the 30 hours. So, right now I'll transcribe 10 hours. I'll send first a 1 hour of sample. So, if you think i'm qualified to this, I'll send more. So basically, don't award me yet. Message me first and you give the recording for 1 hour. And I'll do for sample and if the sample is qualified, it will count to 10 hours. 9/10 hours left. I'm Professional Typist, my WPM is 75 100% accuracy and can reach up to 90 WPM 98% accuracy. I'm proficient in MS word, excel. But, the skills need here is typing speed and listening skills. My English proficiency is conversational. Not fluent. I can write and speak English. Payments, 250$ for 10 hours. 500$ for 20 hours. And 750$ for 30 hours. You may create a milestone for every 10 hours. (Note: My goal for now is 10 hours ^. But, like i said, if i have a more days before Jan 7, I'll continue. So basically, step by step). Thanks Ps: I gonna use google docs not MS word
