Hi, I am Laszlo Benke, from Hungary. I am an electrical engineer. I work as a C# and PLC developer. I am dealing with home-automation and RFID systems. I know the raspberry PI platform well. I made a home-automation system for myself. This can control the heating-water and air-conditioning and function as a burglar alarm system. You can control remotely, via mobile or web-browser. I know the Raspbian (Debian Linux), Apache, Web and Python technologies as well. I have Raspberry PI B+ and Raspberry PI 2 and a lot of additional hardware too. Can you send me details? Hi, My name is Raul Rivas-Plata and I am expert Modbus programmer since 1994 and I can certainly help you with this project. I also have a Rasp PI module and know how to program TCP/IP communications on Linux. I figure this shouldn't take more than 1-2 weeks. I would need to test everything and verify it works. All Modbus messages would use CRC 16 error detection and store errors in a ASCII readable file. A configuration file would setup the Modbus Master for what slave(s) at what Ip addresses to poll and what address ranges to poll from each and how fast to poll. No write operations (local to Rasp PI) are envisioned. The service will not auto create ranges, you will need to specify them in the config file on the Rasp PI. If desired, a remote Win 7 PC (C#.NET) application can also be developed to view/monitor the service on the linux and view current statistics and any errors. This could be in addition to the above and used for testing.
