**First Part**
A flash animation of a 3D photorealistic-looking globe ([this style][1], see also [here][2]) that rotates on the single axis between the north and south pole (how you would expect a globe to rotate).
This doesn't have to be real 3d, it can be prerendered. It will just need enough frames to make rotation be smoothly animated. And it should strike a medium between being high-quality and fast-loading.
I don't care if you purchase/download a premade globe from a 3d site or whatever to do this so long as the license allows me to use it for commercial purposes. And the globe must not have clouds blocking out part of it.
**Second Part**
A system that allows you to attach movieclips to the globe at a given latitude/longitude. When the globe spins the points should stay in their correct position on the globe.
The movieclips should be correctly scaled so that it appears to be traveling around the globe in 3-space.
This will probably require some sort of 3d trickery to make it work.
