Our weight loss site is highly ranked - DA PA 50/60. For some reason our competitors that have been around a lot less, ranking higher, a lot higher compare to us, taking all the business away from us. For example, our site is in position ranging from 20-7 and theirs is in top 5. Quality of our on page is a lot better, but they are ranking higher. My suspicion is that they have few links from highly ranked, health related resource. What we are looking for: SEO candidate must have clear understanding of what we need to do to get higher ranking. Link building and link analysis at this point is useless. Site has huge authority and there about 400K links pointing to it. Sorting through these links might not be a good idea. Building and trying to understand link structure is probably a waste of time. Need someone who is not going to show me automated reports and useless links built to the site, claiming that it might do something 6 months from now - I don't buy these lies. Don't waste your and my time. You must have clear understanding in what dimension this site is. Your job is going to be finding health sites and placing our links on these sites. You must be a member somewhere in health related site with profile that has the "weight" and can post information on these sites. You must be active in health forums or at least know someone who is. Paying is our job. You tell us how much for the links and where you will be posting, what return on investment we will get (approx.) and we will make that happen if it make sense. We are not small moms and pops shop. We know what's up. Don't try to sell me "balonies". No PPC is possible, its a "pharma" site.
