After going through your requirement, My understanding is that you would like to create a model which will be trained to identify objects in particular from the uploaded image. The basic idea that you have portrayed in the Job description is clear, but I have few queries, which will allow me to understand your requirement in details: a) Why are you planning to use Google Machine learning for this Image identifier? b) In the last sentence you have mentioned, "when a picture is input, the software outputs the number of facings of each objects" do you mean that the model will be counting the total number of objects that are present in the image or does the model also needs to identify the objects too? c) Would you be providing us with data sets which will be used by us to train the model? OUR SUGGESTION: Ususally it seem a supervised Image recognition model. We shall use feed forward Neural Network in TensorFlow or Keras to train the images.
