Do you understand that to run windows under linux you need real hardware with CPU virtualization capabilities. You will never run windows inside linux vps, only on dedicated server. Even if it possible all will be without hardware support and will be tens times slower than should.

Why raw Ubuntu? Try proxmox

Hello! I work as sysadmin with 15 years of experience. Dealing a lot with virtual machines of various kinds. I can work on your issue or i can also offer you a cheap and powerful node with your own IP, at one of my spare dedicated servers so you don't even need your VPS anymore. I don't use VirtualBox but bare-metal solution called Proxmox which offers superior performance. Honestly, i'm afraid that your Windows will be slow in the current setup due to e.g. i/o limitations of the VPS, memory, etc. And i know exactly what you need as i also run my remote Windows that way. If you seriously need something stable then let me know and i will have a good deal for you on hand that no VPS provider can offer you (especially memory size, i/o and hdd space will be much better for similar money).
