Good morning, I recently developed an iPhone app that has persistent memory leaks. I'd like someone with excellent Obj-C skills to review my code in detail, fix the memory managment issues, and describe to me in detail via video (screen cap) what I did wrong and how you fixed it.
In other words, this is both a request for a code fix and a brief lesson on Obj-C!
I guarantee that the issue is alloc/init/release/autorelease of objects, especially NSMutableArray. As a brand new Obj-C developer, I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm guessing this will take no more than one hour of your time, probably less!
Hi,
I have expertise in resolving memory issue.
I want to share my experience, I was working with a project, it was a complex project. But the problem was the finished app was quite jerky, and app crashes after 3-4 min working in iPhone/iPad.
Then we focused toward resolving memory leaks. We found that there were 20k leaks displayed by apple instrument while working for just 1 min in the home page of application. We realize that we are doing blunders about object allocation and de-allocation. Hence we finally able to reduce the leaks from 20k to just 50. After that app perform so smooth and never crash. From them onward I always keep trace of memory while development.
I think my experience can help you resolving your leaks and writing better code.
Thanks
