We need a routine that does <path> is a var select dbname from databases { try backup db to <path>dbname catch trap error and notify via console output, then try a second time. } try/catch around everything for notifying on errors. If you have questions post in PMB, we're looking to deal with someone who understands this request with very few further questions.

You don't need a c# program for this, you can do it with a batch file and a stored procedure to automatically process all your databases. I did this for a bunch of my clients and it works like a charm, I can give you my custom backup script or if you would like I can code it in c#.

I've got a stored proc which gets as a parameter the path where you want to back-up the database, if you are interested pls. let me know. I've got a function also (written in VB6.0) which gets a path and back-ups the database in the specified path, it can be easily converted to C# and I would do it in minutes if my bid is chosen.
