_Simple Stock Control System_
Hi I was wandering if someone can create me a simple stock control system consisting of a c++ program, MS Access, MS Excel,
Basically the c++ program will act as virtual scanning device i.e. instead of scanning a barcode with a scanning device, the C++ program will say “Please enter barcode ID:?? etc.
Then once the user inputs all the details i.e. barcode id, quantity etc, that data will get transmitted to the MS Access program that will contain database on all products. Every transaction that takes place on the C++ program, the database will get updated.
In the database program if stock has low quantity or out of stock, that information should be transmitted to the C++ program, i.e. if the user inputs a barcode with quantity 3 but the database only holds 2, the program must display either message: “Out of stock??, “Low Quantity??.
If there are 10 or more items that are low or out of stock then those items in the database will be transmitted to a excel program which will create a new-purchase list will cost and totals from the data in the database program.
I will be sending more information regarding finer requirements and also the templates for the MS Access database and MS Excel programs. But basically I want to know if this can be done and if so how long estimated will it take and how much estimated will it cost.
Note: Work has to be done efficiently and basic. I have basic knowledge of C++ so all sourcecode will need to be explained thoroughly. PLease also explain how the each program i.e. MS EXCEL-MS ACCESS-C++ are joint.
more detail will follow.
